These are thoroughly out of my wheelhouse, and Google isn't helping me.

I've got three scrips to Steeplechase Park stamped 1946.

The only thing that I could find that was remotely like these was a book of them on etsy that was sold and the seller states they're from the 1960's.

Along with those, I have coupons to Faber's Sportland. In the photo, the lone ticket states Established 30 Years, while the others are 40 and 50 years. All I could find was a single entry at worthpoint (of which I'm not a paying member) and some pictures at a blog.

Dave, was there something in particular I was supposed to see in that search?

I've always wonder if anybody have detected Coney Island or it's surroundings? There must be some old silver coins waiting, unless it was filled or new constructions took the place.

bill wabo.haven't been back in almost 30 years. However the Coney Island area has undergon a revival over the past ten years or so.I doubt if there are any open spaces or empty lots that one could detect on.However the beachwould hold great promise if your still allowed to detect there. In the old dats millions of people would be there over the summer season...20 Historic Photos Of Coney Island Beach Goers That Will Brighten Your Day - BKLYNER
