I'm sorry. I missed this post.

I'm also sorry that there isn't anything interesting to update. I kind of thought the way my father-in-law was talking about the letter that he had some history about it. His letter is more like a note and all it says basically is that he was 7 when he first spied it. This would have been around 1945. In 1949 the owner died and his widow had it unloaded and gave it to my father-in-law. That's it.
