Hi all, been wanting an old bell for years and I found this one for 75 bucks.
It's in pretty good shape and I was just wondering what they are worth .
No date that I can find but I am sure it's at least 1920s. IMG_20180102_180437.jpg IMG_20180102_180420.jpg

:occasion14: 150 sounds good to me. Going to hang it in the front yard and ring it every new year.

Cool old bell. Reminded me of the one we had on the farm when I was growing up. My mother used it mostly when it was time to eat or she needed me to come back home from one of my adventures.

Be sure to use thru carriage bolts and either weld or booger the threads real good. In Kentucky almost everyone had a farm bell in the yard and when the price of them started to go up, a lot of the unsecured ones started disappearing. Pillow block bearings work great for mounting them. My neighbors hate when I ring mine. It can be heard a mile down the lake.
