Engraved on it is...Arnex, 15 jewels, Ancre 1919, Swiss made, 8 days.

And one last one,a Elgin pocket watch. All 3 originally belonged to my grandfather.Passed on to my dad.And given to me just before he died. Thanks for your help.I know squat about pocket watches.

Identify your POCKET WATCH

Serial Numbers on the Movement are needed for most Pocket Watches, especially American Made ones when trying to identify the year made, the movement and value. Of course, it is also dependent upon whether he movement sits in the original case.
