1700’s -1800’s Shipwreck Artifact

Found this on the beach today. Looks like a piece of deck with a deck spike. Found in Vero beach so I assume it may be from one of the 1700’s -1800’s shipwrecks

Welcome to Treasure Net! I agree that it likely is a definite maybe! I would have some concern with the encrusted piece attached which appears may have some musketballs or possibly small cannon shot and what might be human bone encased in it.
