If you are lucky, you might get $0.10 for it. The Whitman 2018 Red Book has the 1963 Jefferson Nickel, graded MS60, valued at $0.25.

Time for more coffee.

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard LandonTheCoinCollector! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Welcome Landon! Once you start figuring out where to dig those really old coins and silver coins, you’ll forget all about that nickel! Seeing dates that start with “18....” tends to spike the blood pressure, especially when it’s silver in nature...:icon_thumright:
Now let’s go dig some holes! Keep us posted on your adventures...

To obtain a "Full Steps" designation by any Grader or Third Party Grading Service such as PCGS, NGC, ANACS, ICG or other, the Steps have to be complete with separation between them, no or the slightest amount of wear and no damage (hits/dents) which separates the Steps.
