Over the decades, many counterfeits of the $100,000 note have turned up. Mostly in Asia and the Philippines. They still show up from time to time. If you believe yours to be authentic, have it evaluated by a qualified professional. Please note that if authentic, because it is illegal to possess, and all bills are recorded to have been redeemed, it no longer has monetary value.

My guess is that it is a counterfeit.

Time for more coffee.
