Hi I have seven gemstones could you please tell me what they are and what are they worth? These stones inherited from my gand parents.

PS when light underneath black stone it shows dark red color.

Are they jelly bean size or what?
Best to show something next to the stones to get an idea of their size.
As to ID-ing your items, I'd take them to a jeweler for his opinion.
What did your grandparents say they were?

Hi they weigh roughly 5 carats each local jewler had no clue but he realized they are gemstones Grandparents passed away and in thoses days they probably though t Nothing of them

They look like glass stones from the bottom of a fishbowl.

Regardless you should bring the stones to a legitimate jeweler given the family importance. How can your “jeweler” say they are gemstones yet have no idea what they are? There are better/more knowledgeable jewelers out there that will give you a real identification.

The fact that they are all roughly the same size and shape, and have been tumbled or polished, they do resemble decorative “gravel” for a bowl or planter. Hopefully I’m way off here!
