    Jarhead button

Im thinking this is from ww2. It was about 3 inches deep and found durring the holidays in TN. Does anyone know? It would help for display in the museum.

Looks like a snap or braded piece that would go on a web belt or canteen cover to me? Monty

    Re: Jarhead button

It looks like the buttons that were attached to the USMC "Dungaree" Field Uniforms. They were riveted on.

    Re: Jarhead button

These were worn on the p-41 and p-44 HBT utility uniform AKA: Dungaree's. These uniforms were worn in WWII and Korea and several years after.
