    Old pin / button?

No writing on this one. Back appears to be missing something. Seems to be made of copper, bronze, maybe tin?? Found at a site that dates back to CW. Any ideas?

The castle has been used since about 1840... but I'm thinking this is post CW, at least after 1895ish... probebly WW I.

Thanks Jim, that was quick. Would US Army Civil Engineers have anything to do with building a water supply dam for a small town, or am i getting them mixed up with the Corp of Engineers?

Same thing... yes, they could have been involved and probebly were... a little local research could get you that answer.

Makes perfect sense now as to where it was found, near a damsite that was constructed in the late 20's early 30's. Site actually dates before that, as in before the lake was constructed.

    Really appreciate your help.
