Whitefield NH button

Anybody from around northern New Hampshire?? Found this button that says Whitefield N.H. on it and says S & B in the center.? Some sort of overall button?? Any idea as to what the S & B stands for?? Seen a similiar one online but have not been able to get any info on who made it and when

Hey jlar, I can help you a little bit, but you also helped me.? I live in Northern Vermont and found a snap, that looked like an overall or jean snap which said Whitefield, S&B, (see attached picture) but did not state NH on it.? There is a Whitefield NH, but I can not yet find a clothing company of S&B, but sine yours looks like overall button, and I have an overall or jean snap, I would say that it is safe to assume the company made jeans of some type....Lance

I found one internet page that showed a similiar button but with a slightly different font for the word Whitefield ...

I usually try to id all my finds and then learn a little of the history (just because).? I have searched around a bit for info on this but havent' come up with anything yet.? It is good to see another variation of the button.? Thanks for posting it and thanks for the reply.? If I find anything useful I will share it.
