Found in dirt area next to bus stop in Little Havana section of Miami ....it is copper... could have been run over or flattened....might have been a round band of some kind, but for what? Any ideas?

I found a copper ring a few weeks back. Stamped "copper" on the inside. People have told be that its worn for arthritis therapy. Don't really know, but cool find anyways

Don't discount that copper ring as being a medical device so fast! In an effort to be more "Civilized" the Cherokee people started wearing wedding bands out of copper. I have one that was found on the "Trail of Tears" segment that left the NW Georgia area. I also just reciently found the one below. It is brass and very small for a man. Probably like a size seven. I have average size hands for a man and it doesn't even fit on my pinky! The hole is just a shade smaller than a dime.

No, there is no markings... it is shiny on some of the inside, like a thin gold plating....could this be an expensive cigar band... just a wild guess.

You know, after looking closer at it, the bends are to purposeful to have been ran over or stepped on. I believe it was made that way. Maybe it is off of a belt or purse or something like that.
