Here's the pocket knife that pippin' pointed out on the Miller lock thread.
It is 3 blade, looks like red bone handle, tree emblem on both sides, 4" long closed. The blade is marked BOKER U.S.A. on one side and 98(tree)85 on the other. Don't know where I came up with this knife, but it appears old. I have done some research on Boker, but haven't found this particular model number or manufacture date.
Here's listing that has unfortunately expired, but perhaps the age is 1970

So possibly its "modern". Just figured it was fairly old being the blades are all worn considerably from use and resharpening. May be a knife that was used and sharpened daily. Thanks again.
The one in your link shows that it has "made in germany" on the blade. Hmmmm Mine has U.S.A. stamped. Maybe made in Germany for the US....or maybe both US and Germany manufacture.
A giant chestnut tree, shading the small Boeker tool factory in Remscheid in the 17th century, is the oldest traceable symbol connected with the Boeker name. The emblem seems to fit the era of 1924-1935 as shown on the bottom of this page which also has the company's history.
Thanks a bunch again, Mack. Good link. Here's the chart for us all to reference, now and later.
1924-1935 makes more sense, as far as the wear goes on my knife.
