Late Georgian Seal Matrix (Wax Seal) - Many became fashion items & never used to seal letters, just worn as a status symbol.

Has it got a missing base? Or is the design still there?

Circa 1800 - give or take a few years either side.

Now I see the base, it is one of those fashion type & not functional. Used to be gilt covered.

In that condition, not a lot. In the UK, you would be lucky to get £5, so in the US $1000 Just kidding, not sure what you guys pay for these $25
