    Need your opinion...

    Just wondering what you think this might be... it weighs 1.2 lbs, the hole is not threaded and runs straight through.

    Jimbob is right , Drill steel the hole blows air to keep hole clear of dust and cool bit tips.

    I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

    Yep,they also canaled water through the hole,to keep the dust down,Thousands of miners died of silicosis or "Rocks in the Box)from breathing the quartz rock dust,the old drills were called widow makers for that reason
