sliver of silver?
the only thing I think this COULD possibly be is a piece of a reale? It rang up on my x-70 as a solid 38, is it possible that is what it is? I fould it in a farmers field where a 1 room school used to be

Looks like about 1/16th of an 8 reale. 6.25 cents
or 1/16th of a 4 reale. 3.125 cents. Like a US 3 cent piece.

This is the smallest I've seen, but you had to have correct change or you would more than likely pay more for what you were getting. And surely you wouldn't let a merchant cut on for you fairly.
