Brass Horseshoe

Have a large brass or bronze horseshoe that has turned dark green with age. Has the letters O W A in the middle that stick out . On one side has 0149 stamped in it and other side has stamped OWA2 and on that same side appears to have had a hanger or something fastened to it . Looks very old ,will try to add pictures later.
