Help with buttons

I would appreciate any help with these two buttons which I found last year but am not able to identify.? The first is a three piece button manufactured by Ives Kendrick and company, and was found around a house built in 1801 but also was owned by a colonel in the civil war.? The second with the anchor was probably a wood backed button and does not show up in any of my books.?It was found at a cellar whole where I also found a canadian coin from 1837.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.? Buckram, you seem to be able to figure out just about anything....any ideas?? Thanks...Lance
