    copper, powder flask section?

    5.75 " long, 2" across top, 3.75" at center. Copper with deer and tree relief. Found on property that was settled in the 1840's

    Nice powder flask! Many of the CSA soldiers had to use flask like these because of the poor economics of the South. Was it near a CW battleground or camp? Breezie

    Actually found it in Northwest PA. whikle back home over Easter. It was in the yard @ an old home that my family owns. First time I ever hunted it, and pulled this and a few nice mercury dimes in about an hour of hunting. Hopefully, I will be able to hit it again in July.
