US $100 Silver Certificate Dollar

i have found a large cache of US $100 silver certificate dollars & US$20 dollar notes (photos attached). can someone please tell me about them & are they still leagle tender?

Yes they Still are Legal Tender.

But , Are Probably worth more if you sell them on EBay.

I'll let someone with more knowledge on the Silver Certificates,
tell you more about their original purpose.

They are definately worth more than face value. I sold a five dollar one for twenty dollars several years ago before I ever started collecting junk. Definately ebay them one at a time or sell them as one or a batch, whatever. Monty

I have a few stashed away myself. They are surely worth more than face value! Look them over very well before selling them. Vern 8)

From what I know about e-bay, the junk goes for 3 times its value, but the good stuff goes for less than its value, most times.

May want to consider getting them appraised by a reputable dealer and submitting them to a decent auction house, if there's any rarities.

Yeah, how many ya' got? Are the serial numbers sequential? A year or two ago a team of roofers in MA found a similar lot in the rafters of an old house they were working on, then pretended they found them in one of their back yards... (got busted). You're not a roofer are you? We'd all love to hear the whole story. -Ben
