    Old canteen

    ? I found this old canteen in a out building that was falling down.It was on a farm here in Alabama.It is 8" tall and 5.5" wide and took a cork.It is flat on one side an shape like a chestnut flask,but made out of some type of aluminum.I've tried reseaching it on google,but no luck.Anyone got any ideas?

    It's a late model German Canteen from WW2.
