Jewelry spill, not a coin spill

Hey Ya'll, I went to a 1840's homeplace today, which for many years belonged to very a well-to-do family/generations. Several years ago when the house was put on the market to sell, I asked the owner (not a family member, but the present owner) if I could MD the yard. He said, sure, and if you want to look through some other junk, it's in the trash pile in the back. He said, I've cleaned out the dirt basement that has been filled with junk for years. My wife and I are getting a divorce, so I'm cleaning out. In that pile, among other valuable things, I found 5 antique Micro Mosaic picture frames that were in great condition. You can GOOGLE to get an idea of the value. I went back, and said, are you sure I can have anything I find in the trash pile? He said, yeah, have at it, and take it all if you like (of which I did). Many of the items I found were French and Italian, which I think probably were souvenirs from the 'Tour.'

Even though I've beat this yard to death, I went back today and found a jewelry spill. All 3 pieces were in the same hole, and basically side by side. I'd like to get some ideas of what you think the ages would be. The Charm is most interesting in that it opens. It's extremely heavy and is marked 925 in the inside lid. The Cloisonne Ring was not made yesterday, and it looks to be set in copper. The Copper Ring is thick, and in my opinion might not be as old as the charm and cloisonne.

I'm thinking maybe the Cloisonne and the Charm might be some type of souvenir from one of the family's trips abroad, especially since there were so many Micro Mosaic frames, which were generally souvenirs too.

Any thoughts, opinions or ideas are always appreciated. Breezie

I think your ring and bracelet are from the 1950's +
It appears to me the silver item is perhaps a thimble holder reproduction. Undetermined age, but rather recent...
Normally they were not on a necklace hanger...

Your little silver box, is called a prayer box or it can used for just about anything, a wish box, a box to put in something dear to you ... I dont think that is that old but they sure are neat items.. alot of times these little silver boxes are added to charm bracelets or worn as a pendant.. super nice finds by the way.

BootyBay, Thank you for the ID on the Prayer Box. I Googled and found several almost identical to mine.

DG, thanks for your post; it's 2 rings, not a bracelet. I should have put a penny with the items to show size relationships. I know Cloisonne made a come back in the 1950's, and will do some more research on that ring.

Neat finds there Breezie! Just wanted to add my two cents, I agree on the wish/prayerbox, but also some would put cremated ash in there to keep before spreading or burying the rest. Why? Dunno

Re: Jewelry spill, not a coin spill

Thanks Gang for the kudos on the jewelry spill. As much as I've dealt with older jewelry, I've never seen a Prayer Box. Oh, my, I hope no ones ashes were in it, if so, they're down the kitchen drain now. I agree the ages of these pieces are 1960-ish. G, sorry I don't have any pics of the trash pile, but I was so excited I immediately started hauling stuff in the back of the SUV. My sister was with me, and she and I looked like 2 squirrels on speed! I was afraid someone else would come and he'd tell them the same thing. The house has been empty and has not sold since that time, so I figured my 'MD permission pass' was still valid. I'm headed back tomorrow if the weather permits. Breezie
