1908 Code Book???
Well I've tried to post the pictures of a book I found while cleaning out my grandfathers items. The cover is maroon with nothing on the front or back. The book is approx. 4"x3-3/4". I've attached a copy of the first page of the book. If anyone has any ideas about this book, it would be greatly appreciated. I've also posted this book at the www.tweleve.org forum under the blunt chisel "Need help please" by CFL Swine. I could not get all the pictures posted here, it said my file was too large. Oh well, if you have any ideas let me know.

Re: 1908 Code Book???
I have a very good idea what it is, but I need at least one page from inside to make the decision. I've seen several books like this, and I actually own two myself.

I suspect that this might be a book from a fraternal order. However, as others have already pointed out, we need to see additional sample pages.

BTW, couldn't find that post on the other site without registering, and I am NOT going to do that! That site is like one big commercial! LOL

You donot have to register at tweleve.org to read the forum. I read to forum for months before signing up. It is a nut house there, but can find some really neat things.

Sorry, but that is incorrect. Everytime I clicked on reading, it requires my ID and password.

You can view the pages at www.ravenstreasurehuntingsite.com under the ideas/maps/drawing section. It's free. Check it out. Would really like to find out what this book is.

Thats what I initially thought, but the masonic code books usually have numbers above the letters, for another codebook to look up the actual words.
