This was also found in the same hole as the PATENT CALCIUM INHALATOR recently post on this same forum. Because this was found on an old plantation camp this was probally from their lab. Any ideas on this one. You can see another tube like chamber within the bottle. It's 3-1/4" by 7/8". Both end of the opening is a bit flared
looks like one of those devices for smoking a certain green substance.
Really though, I've seen similar pieces before, I think they are used to let gasses out of one container, while keeping outside air out, the big part would be filled with water most likely. I can't seem to remember what they are called, but a friend of mine who brews beer has newer versions of them.
My guess another early 20th century medical glass inhalator for asthma and respiratory diseases..
The directions show this type being heated by immersing in a cup of water.
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines. I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
Yes. They were found at the same hole by the same person.
