    What do you think it is??? added MORE PICS UPON REQUEST

    Found this today.

    It says on the top " PAT APLD FOR BIGELOW"

    The glass is solid. It appears to have had a copper tube attached to one end and a screw type vent on the other..

    Any thoughts as to what this is used for

    bigelow was an apothocary product developer.......so,this could be.....

    Possibly a gas globe for a tractor or combine for visually checking amount of water in the gas tank.

    way to small to be an oil drip . The glass is 3/8 " thick and the dia. of the glass is about 3/4"

    is there anyway you can post the pieces together in one pic with the bottom part showing? also a size would help!

    I think it is some kind of "sight tube" with a bleed off screw.
    Either diesel fuel or gasolina.........
    maybe it belongs to an ole' still.......XXX

    Des...the bottom is that copper or is that part soft....the piece sticking out?
