Catholic "Pendant" - St. Alphonse's Church

Here's an interesting "pendant" that was found in Inyo County, CA up in the Seirra Nevada Mountians. I've only been able to find info on St. Alphonse's Church which was built from 1855 - 1859 and has a neat history. Sorry, for not including a comparison in my pics, but these are the only photos I have at the moment. I'm also interested in the use of "Relief" as opposed to Help. Could that be or not be a clue to it's age and authenticity?

    Thx.,
    Bill

Don't really know what your looking for, those medals are made in the thousands and sold or given to
catholics everyday through the years. Pick a saint and there is a medal for it, made of every kind of metal or plastic.

If I had to guess I would say early years because of the word relief instead of help as the newer updates refer to her as the lady of perpetual help. But I suppose you can use the words the same.

If it was silver, gold or platinum it may have material value, but as it is to a believer it has great value.

I dont know what the material its made out of but it looks in mint condition which equates to recently lost.

    Is it blue aluminum?
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
