    Trying To Track The Hallmarks

Howdy Guys and Girls, dug this part of an old piece of silverware today,
and I can not find any info on these markings. Searched US and English, nothing.
It's not made of silver, but doesn't seem like pewter. (Too heavy). Might just be horribly decomposing silver-plate.
Whatever it is, I can't find any info. Really would love to find out the date on this piece,
and I know that there is always at least one genius lurking at this site.
    Thanks in advance,
    Carl

    How about this?
Believe those silverplate marks were used by William Gallimore & Company of Sheffield England from about 1863 to 1891.
The firm became William Gallimore & Sons in 1891 as shown here:

    U DA MAN!

Didn't even think of looking up silverplate, just coin and sterling.
    Fits the time period perfectly.
Thanks again, and man that was quick,
    Carl
