I found it in Brighton/Allston mass. So the A.L could be Allston? Any idea what this could be?

It could be a locker tag for a Allston Xxxxxxx Country Club.

Almost reminds me of a pit tag, they would give them to the guys when they went down the coal minds and there was a pit boss who would have all the names and the numbers of the tag they took that day. This was so they knew every man came out of the pits. Maybe that is what this CC means, Coal Co.
