Found this button , I no the picture is bad but unfortunatly my camera met the floor by accident and im stuck with a camera phone .

The button has a shield with a lion in the middle ,and a kings crown ontop , its a two peice button sadly the back is rusted beyond trying to read anything on it . It has a round shank hook on back .

I am not sure the age of the site , becuase the house was pushed down and cleaned up about 2 months ago . But this place is fairly close to historic area's .

I am thinking civilian button but wanted to run it by the experts.
