In the spirit of also being wrong, it looks a little bit like part of an old fashioned elevator floor indicator

Actually, it looks to have a couple of different sizes, but only 2 or 3 with repeats. Not gauge.

I thought I was wrong once, but I wasn't and blew my record. Now I have been married 38 years and have never been right since. Good way to stay married. Once you are wrong, it is easy to get used to.

I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

Old hardware stores had a rack to put their buggy whips that were for sale. Kind of looks like a top to one of those or a rack to display fishing poles.

I don't know what it is, but, if I found that, I would be trying to figure out how to use it for a fishing rod holder or part of a pool stick rack.

end of a hedge trimmer? It reminds me of the end of a chain saw but it doesnt look as if it turns.

(I just wanted to see how it feels to be wrong.)

Well my wrong idea was a spark plug wire holder, and I'm really not even sure why that popped in to my head.
