    odd find

    Found this odd piece at the beach. It is made of copper.

    Any ideas?

    The smaller piece on the pic was attached.

    Not knowing the size, I guess clock piece. Looks cool as is. Dont clean it. Sell it on eBay as unknown possible shipwreck item.
    I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

    Good guesses. Forget about eBay lol. It would make sense found on the beach from a charcoal grill but it is made of copper so maybe not a grill..

    Found this link which shows one that looks similar. It is 3-inches in diameter just like the one I found. It could be old (19th century).
