Button... what where when and so on... (Solved by the moderator! Thanks Jeff!)

I am not finding much on this button... I looked on the internet... Its a two piece riveted button so I am guessing its not that old but it was found in a very old location on a old wagon trail date back to the 1860's I'm sure it newer than that but I thought to let you guys have a crack at it...

What kind of Ship is that?
    How Old?
    Overall button?

According to the pictorial book by the National Button Society, that button dates to 1900 - 1908 time frame .. or .. as Jeff said, the early 1900's.
    "Wherever I go .. That's where I'll be!"
