    Not a Clue, Need Help with ID

    found this in a neighbor yard, not to far down. don't have a clue





    the shaft are hard, and it weighs about a pound i didn't see any marking

    It's a "frog". You put it in a vase, and stick the flower's stems either on the prongs or between them. Helps keep the flowers where you want them. They come in several shapes, sizes. As well as the prong type, there's also basket like metal ones, or glass ones with holes in them. Very useful item.

    Can confirm flower arrangement frog. Seated in container with florists putty, on the flat surface. Pins used for 2 purposes: 1) to hold stem in place 2) to make a hole in the stem for greater water absorbtion.
