    Bullet find from 1870-1940 area

Dug this from a gun club area 1870-1940 time. Competition shooting matches at an 8 foot mound of dirt---which the dirt is now spread over 1 1/2 acres.
Been finding 30-06, 308, older 223 and older 273 lead

This is the 1st one like this I dug up....... no calipers to get the exact measurments....
Somebody must have dug one of these up.......

    What is this one??

Comparing your fired bullet's diameter at its undamaged base with the 17.9mm diameter of a US dime... you've got a Long-model .22-caliber rifle bullet, from sometime between approximately the late-1800s to the mid 20th-century.

Edit: Broken Knee types faster than I do. ;-)
