please help identify the stamp or hallmark

The pictured item is 100+Kg and appears to have some gold content to it
I am having the samples assayed and will post the results asap
it is a very odd shape; seems to have been created for a specific use.
I am curious to know the refinery name that placed the TM or MT stamp on this item

    Shallowell,
    Welcome to Treasure Net !!
The initials remind me of the Tucaman Mint marks. Tucaman was an area in Argentina and important (way back in the day) as a midpoint for shipments of gold and silver from the Viceroyalty of Peru to Buenos Aires. Also, there was a mint in the Crimea area of Russia (1787 and 1788) named Tavrida, and their mintmark was TM. However, my gut tells me the answer is a little less exotic (and more modern) than either of those two possibilities.
