    my first coin....need help

I was so excited finding my first coin ever. did lots of research, did find a coin with exactly the front side of "georgivs ii, dc magna.., rex", but couldn't find one that had "carolina .....regina" on the obverse. i didn't see any date. again, research tells me that george II was married to queen carolina, but can't find the exact coin or the date. any help is greatly appreciated. by the way, i found it in alabama on an old indian site. thanks for any help) also is a pic attached of a bullet i found nearby ( i guess it is a bullet?)

First, I can tell you that you have not found your first coin yet, but you may have found your first medal. On coins, the back and the front are upside down in relation to each other. If you have the head upright and turn it to the side, the tali will be upside down. Medals are both on the same heading. I suppose that is because if you are wearing it and it turns around, you don't want people to crank their heads to see what the upside down figure is. Someone else will have to tell you about this interesting medal. I wonder if it is a "peace medal' of sorts?

Second, the reeding (small verticle lines) in the grooves pretty well dates the bullet from about the 1880s on. And again, someone with the know will tell you exactly what it is, but they will want measurements.

thank you so much, that does make sense. i will try to now research "medals", but still curious what why it was used and where it came from, and how it ended up in my location.
    thanks a bunch!!!
