It says "IIB" (Battalion?) on it, and has been a mystery to me for several years. It also has a place where what looks like a single pin came off it (that goes into the belt) at the back. It also has a visible rounded "ding" (lower left) on it that could very well be from a musket shot that knocked it off

Hi TAZ
Stunning job, Dude! WOW! I've agonised over what that was for years. It did come from a "truck garden " type site but it also saw skirmishes when the American invaders (hehe) came ashore. Was actually just working on a better picture to give any millitary buffs out there something to work with (I did change it). Thanks kindly--if there's any one of my book titles you like, let me know--you win the grand prize! Great picture of yours too. Still working on mine.
Kind Regards,

PS. Like to try for double or nothing? You're obviously on a streak. Maybe we can all "clean house"...

Hi Taz
Nice one--kind of suspected that one was from a car, but it's great to see how it looked originally.
thanks, and the offer of a book still stands.
Let me know by regular e-mail via my site.

Not sure about the one on right ,maybe a interior piece is the back the same as the one on left?
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines. I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
