What does "GSC" stand for on this service pin?

Found these two service pins in a box of old jewelry at a garage sale. What does the 'GSC' stand for? There is a little flower emblem below the GSC letters.
    Thanks for any help!

The following link mentions GSC. So maybe it might be something to do with Girl Scouts. Plus it mentions that for every 5 years in Girl Scouts (As a child or an an adult) you get a pin, 5, 10, 15 etc.

Thanks Mike! I thought it might have something to do with the Girl Scouts, but didn't know what the "C" could stand for?
There was some other stuff mixed in the box of jewelry with these service pins I bought(a Cities Service lighter and some oilfiled advertising pieces/pins), so I wondered too if these pins could be petroleum/oilfield/natural gas company related?

I'll go check out the link you provided.

there's a similar one...has a number on it along with the gsc. this listing didn't really provide any historical info....i would generally think GSC is general service corps but it doesn't make sense that it would have the flower on it.

I was thinking maybe Girls Scout Council, but the flower is wrong.
