Re: What is it ?

First one looks like part of a harness bit, the second looks like a finial

Re: What is it ?
Anyone ever consider that it might be an old brass drawer pull from a dresser ?
I know that there were millions of differant designs that were made, for all kinds of furniture.
It's got everything to be a pull... threaded end, round ball design... etc....

Re: What is it ?
I agree that it's either a finial of some type, perhaps used on a lamp or either a drawer pull for a small piece of furniture, but am leaning more toward a finial. Interesting finds Breezie

A finial, from the word 'final,' is the decorative top of an item. There are finials on furniture, chairs, lamps, flag poles, roofs, clocks, and even military hats. Google any of the above words with finial behind it, and you'll see a plethora of examples. Breezie
