    Purpose of pin?

    Found this pin at a thrift store in with a bunch of sewing supplies. I was wondering about what it was used for and who might have used it. Any information would be appreciated.

    Looks like it could be a temporary pass or ID for a 397th Sub Depot Air Service Squadron worker.

    base worker pass "pin" to gain entry to base -- a basic ok to let this "worker person" pass thru main gate type security ID pin
