    Help Me ID (solved)

Anyone have any idea what this could be? It is 3 inches in size. Found by a friend.

    Re: Help Me ID

    Couple of questions...

Is it 3 inches long or 3 inches at the round part?

Was it dug? If so, anything else around it?

Any evidence that there was a rubber piece held in place by the "teeth"?

    What is it made of?

I see the chain will not allow it to be opened wide so I assume it was slipped over whatever is was intended to hold.

    Very curious piece.

in my veiw it looks like --ITS A TOOL FOR INFLICTING PAIN - lots of it * to the private parts of a male human body - most likely used by S & M sex type folks ( sadist the S in S & M = inflicting pain on others is their sex "pleasure")-- or --- freaks that like to torture their victims (serial killer types-- very very twisted mentally ill folks) -- geez , it hurts just to look at that thing --freindly warning * -- if it was found in the "wild" there might be a body buried close by --

oh found where --that might help figger out what it is

    Re: Help Me ID

I too think it is some type of torture and restraining device. When the rings close, a lock could be placed through them, thus restricting any movement on the 'part' that was locked. If the entire item is only 3 inches, it could be some type of torture thumb cuffs. If you Google 'torture devices through history,' you'll see some gruesome items. Strange find, Breezie

Hopefully the poster will answer Matt's questions.
