    Navy button

Can I assume that this is a US Navy button? How old or what war period is this from? The back is toast.

    Re: Navy button

It is definitely a civilian Fashion button (not a Military one), from the 20th-century. It had an el-cheapo tinplated iron back, which has rusted out. Those civilian imitation "navy buttons" can still be bought today, at sewing-supplies shops such as JoAnn Fabrics.

    Re: Navy button

Thanks. It does have a cheapness about it.
