    printing plate? not sure

The only thing I can find about this, is that it seems like it came from a butcher shop in california from 1920. Why would this be in a yard in Georgia. The back is lead filled. Everything is reversed like a stamp/plate

It reads "Cupid dwells in well-fed lands where pure meats are in demand"

    Re: printing plate? not sure

    Found this mention...

"Notes for CHARLES LEWIS STRONG: Mayor of Red Bluff, Tehama County, California May 3, 1920 until April 17, 1922. He owned and operated a butcher shop with his brother George E. Strong. They advertised their market in the newspaper with sayings like "It's as plain as the nose on your face, that well-fed men always win the race" and "Cupid dwells in well-fed land, where pure meats are in demand"."
