Heart Pendant, How Old??

Does anyone have ANY information on this piece? My wife really likes this thing,thought about getting it gold plated for her,but,not sure if I should just leave itas is.It sure is pretty. God Bless HH Chris[img][/img]

It's from the Victorian era or either a repro of the Victorian era. A pic of the back of it would help. 'Open' faced roses were very popular during the Vic. era, and they were found on just about everything, and were even carved into furniture, especially on the back of love seats and chairs. One good rule of thumb for Vic. items is: If it is a great piece for dust or dirt to hide, it generally Victorian! Neat pendant! Breezie
