I need help to ID this button

I was out MD all day this past Sat. 12/17......I was hunting in a historic reservation when I dug up this
button....I have done a lot of research trying to ID it but have been unsuccessful.
The button is a 2 piece silver; 1" in diameter; Back mark: D.Evans & Co. Attleboro, MA
The front of the button has a fouled anchor and 2 stars; no other markings....
    Any ideas

    Thank you in advance!!!

I can't help with the age in an accurate way, but it looks like a late 1800's early 1900's blazer button to me. I hope this helps a bit, if you can id the maker you may able to tie the date down further

Here's what my button backmark guide has to say...

    D. EVANS & CO. 1848-1945

I agree with Hammered, late 19th-early 20th centuries.

I searched for this button but didnt comment because I couldnt find an exact match. I also believe it to be a civilian fashion blazer button. I have found designs with the 2 stars, fouled anchor, design or wreath in background and they were all fashion buttons.

I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.
