    It's a King ?

I’m stumped on this one. The only markings are “It’s a King”. It obviously fit on a wooden handle and connected to something, but I’ve no idea what.

It looks to me like a gardening tool should have been fitted on it.

IT'S A KING is a trademark by KING OIL TOOLS, INC. They make rotary well drilling tools and parts, swivels, circulating heads, and wire line strippers. Interesting find, Breezie

Beat me to it, Breezie. Was about to post an image of a Swivel from King Oil Tools that shows the same logo.
Will have to search some vintage product catalogues to see if we can find what this was used for. It does look like a handle was attached to one end, and the other end would slip over a ball ended shaft, perhaps for activating a lever or for guidance......
