    Odd N. Idaho find...Any Brits Help?

    So not a terrible day today. Among the other things I dug this up. Was hoping someone could shed a little light on it. We don't much keep up with royal news here in North Idaho. It's about the size of a nickel but very very thin.

    My first guess would be a 50's play money coin. I found a link describing a similar mystery token. http://users.pullman.com/fjstevens/t...kens/4153.html.

    I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

    I wonder if it could be a token from a British Empire African nation? Lagos Nigeria?

    Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it being play money based on the thickness and weight. (or lack thereof) The odd things are the Lagos and where it was found. Still another interesting find for me I guess. I don't find anything anywhere about it being any official coin of anything so into the token box it goes.

    It makes a great What Is It mystery. Im sure it can be solved. Lots of words for those who like to Google. I have a good play money link but I lost it on my main computer.

    Re: Odd N. Idaho find...Any Brits Help?

    Here is what I got. Im sure someone will correct any errors.

    * The coronation of Elizabeth II was 1953.

    * ER stands for Elizabeth Regina (it means Elizabeth the Queen)

    * The names "Sulola" and "Odunsi" are both Nigerian.

    * Lagos is in Nigeria.

    * Nigeria was a British protectorate in the 50's.

    * Its not a coin because it has no monetary denomination.

    The cheaply made token that looks like play money is either a souvenir or a cheap commemorative but my big question is who is "Sulola Odunsi?"

    Was trying to figure that out myself. Appears to be a name in Nigeria is all I could figure out.
    Dunno, just hope they don't need me to smuggle their $200,000,000.00 out of the country for them though
