Any ideas on the age of this thing. It looks like a modern snap to me, but I can't find any reference to Daniel Hays that would be for clothing.

These gorgeous dress gloves look unworn and are still in their plastic sale bag. On the inside wrist on one glove is stamped 'Daniel Hays (9) Grey Haired Peccary.' Daniel Hays is inscribed on the pearlized snaps. The only mark is a little green copper stain on the inside right wrist w one snap left its mark. It should come out with a good leather cleaner. It is interior so it is unseen from the outside. These gloves come from the dress uniforms of a Lt. Col. during WWII, a career USMC Officer.
