    Button Help...

    Need help iding these two buttons. They are 9/16 wide. Not sure if they were made this way or holed by someone for reuse. Thanks Art

    It looks like an old button but my guess is civilian. It may have been a 2 piece that lost it back or a concave 1 piece but either way its civilian IMO. But I may be wrong. It has that rounded wing eagle.
    I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

    The buttons are 20th century blazer or sport coat buttons. Cheaply made copies of earlier navy design buttons. They were made with the holes through the face, and never had backs or shanks for attachment.
