The OBCO OB8 or whatever is a manufacturers mark, not a gold mark. You need to look for 12K, 14K etc. or numbers. The rest of the post about hate and 1onc. of crack, I do not understand.

Now the blurry mark in the top left may be a gold or silver mark. It looks like numbers.

It says "Hobco", they were a manufacturer of costume jewelry. Most probably not gold.

HOBCO stands for House of Borvani and I'll have to assume that the CO is company, manufacturers of costume jewelry, based out of Providence, Rhode Island.
